The rooftop of the Merlin is fitted with a 7.6 mm medium machine gun and a 40 mm automatic grained launcher. It assists in easily carrying military squads and also helps in supply. The Merlin provides STANAG 4569 Level-1 protection from both sides and rear, which is the highest among NATO standards. The Tata Merlin gets a 3.3-liter liquid cool direct injection engine. Which produces 185 bhp at 3,200 rpm and 450 Nm of torque at 2,400 RPM.

Sri Lakshmi Defense Solutions is manufacturing this incredibly safe vehicle. It is the first high-end military vehicle made in India, which comes with a bullet, landmine, and blast-proof capabilities. It can also undergo heavy hitting while patrolling. It has a seating capacity of six commandos. Its interior casings are composed of ballistic sheets. The car has been designed with B7 + rated armor. 7.MEVA Straton Plus

Mahindra has developed this vehicle together with Ford. It is powered by Ford’s F550 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel engine, which produces a power of 300 Bhp and torque of 894 Nm. It comes with Light Ordered Vehicle (LAV) and Light Tactical Vehicle (LTV) versions. It has the capacity to carry 12 people. It also gets separate seat belts and cabin AC with a tire inflation system and heavy-duty suspension features.
